JESUS·NYE

FOR PASTORS & CHURCH LEADERS

Pastor —
this one is for you.

Your community. The streets you have walked. The families you have carried in intercession. That community is being invited into a week unlike any other. We are not coming to bypass your church. We are coming to plant something in your soil that you can keep growing.

Embedded, not parallel.

Most stadium gospel campaigns leave a memory. Six months later the city largely looks the same. We have heard this concern from pastors. We share it. Jesus NYE is built so that it does not fade.

For seven days at the end of 2026, a team of trained missionaries will live with your church family. They will not run a parallel programme — they will embed, take the pioneering load off your staff, mobilise your members into your neighbourhood, and serve your vision for that community.

01

A team arrives

Screened, trained missionaries live with your church for the seven days of Mission Sydney week — Christmas to NYE.

02

Your neighbourhood moves

They mobilise your members into your streets, schools, workplaces and homes — serving your vision, not theirs.

03

Soil already turned

When they fly home you are standing in a congregation in motion, conversations already opened — a year of fruit to cultivate.

What we ask of you. What you receive.

A few short conversations through 2026 to align with our team. A willingness to mobilise your members for one week. Beds and meals for the visiting team where possible (or we coordinate housing partners on your behalf). The freedom to shape the week to your church's vision.

In return: a campaign architecture you don't have to invent, citywide prayer covering, a coordinated movement across hundreds of Sydney churches simultaneously, and a missionary team laying down their lives to see your community come home to Jesus.

Seven ways your church can partner.

There is no single way to partner. Churches join Jesus NYE through one or more roles — chosen to fit your size, capacity and calling. A church may carry one role or several, and may grow into more over time.

·

Prayer partner

Commit to pray for the campaign, the city and the lost — prayer nights, Sunday prayer, an intercession roster, a prayer room.

·

Training partner

Host or promote evangelism, discipleship and new-believer pathway training — team leader training, training nights.

·

Outreach partner

Send members into Mission Sydney teams — local teams, zone leaders, outreach volunteers, testimony capture.

·

Host church

Host visiting missionaries or serve as a mission hub — billeting, meals, gathering space, transport, team deployment.

·

Follow-up church

Receive and disciple responders from your own area — a contact team, new believer groups, pastoral care, baptism pathway.

·

Baptism partner

Host or help coordinate baptisms after the campaign — baptism services, beach or pool baptisms, pastoral interviews.

·

Financial partner

Give or help raise support — monthly partnership, one-off gifts, donor introductions, in-kind contribution.

Five commitment levels.

To make the decision clear, partnership is offered at five levels. A church can begin at any level and move deeper as confidence grows. We would far rather a church commit honestly at Level 1 than over-promise at Level 4.

LEVEL 1

Pray

Commit to pray for the campaign and receive updates.

For churches wanting to stand with the campaign — not yet operationally involved.
LEVEL 2

Promote

Pray, promote and invite people to Jesus NYE.

For churches supporting the stadium gathering and the public campaign.
LEVEL 3

Train and send

Host or attend training and send members into outreach.

For churches ready for active Mission Sydney participation.
LEVEL 4

Host and follow up

Host missionaries or a mission hub, and receive follow-up contacts.

For churches with facilities, leaders and pastoral capacity.
LEVEL 5

Core city partner

Help shape, lead, fund and carry the campaign's local-church expression.

For senior partner churches and networks with strong commitment.

From yes to mission.

Once your church senses the Lord saying yes, the pathway forward is simple and unhurried. Nothing is rushed. Every question is welcome along the way.

  1. 01

    An initial conversation

A first phone or coffee meeting with the pastor or a designated church leader.

  2. 02

    A vision briefing and prayer

We walk through the campaign vision with your leaders, then pray together.

  3. 03

    Select a level and roles

Choose the partnership level and the role(s) your church will carry into Mission Sydney.

  4. 04

    Partnership agreement

A simple partnership agreement and the church partner form.

  5. 05

    Nominate your church liaisons

A church liaison, plus prayer lead, outreach lead and follow-up lead as relevant.

  6. 06

    Training and rhythm

Members enter the training pathway and your church joins the campaign communication rhythm.

  7. 07

    Hub, zone and follow-up

Integration into a mission hub, an outreach zone, and the follow-up data system.

  8. 08

    Debrief and next-step planning

After the campaign — a debrief, an impact report and next-step discipleship planning for your fruit.

The Jesus NYE Church Pack

A short PDF walking through what hosting a team looks like, the embedded-mission model, and what your church can expect across the week.

Start the conversation

There is no fixed model imposed on your church. There is a moment in history we believe we are standing in, and an invitation to walk into it together. Send us a few details and we'll reach out personally.

Select all that apply — these become the next conversation points.

A member of our team will reach out within a few days, in prayer.
