JESUS·NYE

MISSION SYDNEY · SEVEN DAYS

Send me
to Sydney.

Missionaries, evangelists, intercessors, worship leaders, disciple-makers — come to Sydney between Christmas and New Year's Eve 2026 and help us carry one million face-to-face gospel encounters across the city.

The daily rhythm.

Mission Sydney is not a parallel programme. Visiting partners live with a Sydney host church for seven days and serve that pastor's vision for that community. The day runs in four movements.

01

Morning

Worship, prayer and Bible class at the host church. The day begins at the altar.

02

Daytime

Teams deploy across the city — prayer walks, connect-and-love conversations, outreach in transport hubs, parks, schools, workplaces and homes.

03

Evening

Return to the church. Worship, testimonies, debrief, pastoral care, prayer for tomorrow.

04

Night

Intercession through the watches. The friends of the Bridegroom keeping watch.

05

NYE — the Midnight Cry

The whole campaign converges at Accor Stadium on 31 December. The altar at the threshold of 2027.

06

The reach

The campaign ends — the reach does not. Carry the testimony home into your own church and city.

What we provide. What you bring.

We coordinate your host church placement, your training intensives, your daily team hub, outreach materials and pastoral cover. You bring your gifting, your obedience, your team where you have one, and a willingness to lay down your week to see Sydney come home to Jesus.

Travel and accommodation are your responsibility, but we partner with churches and hospitality networks across Sydney — let us know your situation and we'll help where we can.

Who we are inviting.

Jesus NYE carries a global invitation. The campaign is mobilising thousands of missionaries, evangelists, intercessors, worshippers and believers from across the nations — and a range of mission partners are needed to carry the work. Whether you come as an individual, a team, or a sending ministry, there is a place for you in Mission Sydney.

The missionary journey.

From the first invitation to the day you fly home, the journey has nine clear steps. Every step is supported by the campaign team. Nothing is rushed — every question is welcome along the way.

  1. 01

    Invite

Mission partner networks and individuals receive the vision and the mobilisation invitation.

  2. 02

    Apply

Register individually or as a team — references, sending church or organisation, your gifts and how you've best served local churches before.

  3. 03

    Approve

Participants are screened according to role, safeguarding and operational needs.

  4. 04

    Train

Complete orientation in the gospel approach, the embedded posture, conduct, reporting and safety — online and in person.

  5. 05

    Place

Teams matched with one host church whose pastor's vision and community fit your team's gifts and experience — so the week is spent where you can serve most fruitfully.

  6. 06

    Arrive

Welcomed, checked in, oriented and connected to your host pastor and church family.

  7. 07

    Deploy

Join the host church's daily rhythm of prayer, worship, outreach, debrief and reporting.

  8. 08

    Report

Team leaders submit daily activity, testimonies and needs — with a clear handover back to the host pastor.

  9. 09

    Return

Sent home as a bridal awakener, carrying the midnight cry and the daily altar back to your own city.
